Waterfalls have been always mystic and indeed majestic, catching hold of everyone’s eye. But photographing waterfall is not an easy job. It needs sharpened skills and an expertise on how to capture these instant correctly. Here are tips for photographing waterfalls.

The type of light that is around the waterfall matters a lot as the light is quite tricky to carry and the motion is dynamic too. We can overcome this issue by fast shutter which helps in freezing the motion for camera to capture it and a long shutter speed will help to integrate the motion reducing the blur effect. Keep in notice whenever you are Capturing waterfall your camera should be in shutter priority mode. While getting started, keep your camera on the auto-mode, keep the focus off and take the photo.

You do need a tripod when you are using shutter as to ensure that the camera stays at a stationary position till you take the shot and the shutter is also open.
