Cameras To Be Used For Nature Photography
Nature photography concerns many issues such as perfect subject, the surrounding light conditions of your subject and many more. But there is a difference between good photograph and an excellent photograph, and only few minute changes make it happen. The most important task is selecting the perfect digital camera for photography and its equipments.
Camera
When you are a beginner in nature photography you will mostly focus on for the automatic functions and modes rather than the manual mode. But you need to even trace out what shutter speed and the aperture you require with it. You might also require some electronic or manual mode to remote release functions. It will also be helpful to be acknowledged on the subject of mirror lock up, view finder to display the information about exposure, set film ISO, auto-winder, multiple exposure functionality, exposure compensation and many more. Using all these functions is not mandatory but if you have them, they will prove beneficial.
Lenses
Lenses would be telephoto zoom lenses, fast lenses or wide angle lenses.
Lens can differ from 28-105 approximately. You can have around 28mm wide that will be genuine wide. The second type of lens would be the telephoto which would start from 70mm and 100mm until 300 mm. Fast lenses can be like f4 or f4.5 minimum and f5.6 maximum that can be at 300mm. For wild life photography 300mm will be just enough. You can also use two lenses with the same filter size of 58mm.
Tripod
To capture a perfect picturesque you even need a tripod. A tripod will just help you to have the perfect photo by giving your camera stillness. It will also give you sharp images. But nature photography doesn’t much concern with the tripod.
You will also require some accessories like polarizing filter, UV filters and neutral density filters which will help in shooting your subject even in bright lights. You need a lens hood for carrying each lens. To handle the telephoto macro photography, a two elemental close-up diopter is required. Finally you need a bag to carry all these equipments.
