Q Is it secure doing business on Internet?
A Yes. Using common sense I think it is secure to do business over the Internet. In my attempt to make the purchase process the best possible experience for my customers I have chosen to work with PayPal and their services. PayPal constantly work with security related questions and they make thousands of secure transactions each day. Please read more about payment security here.
Q Do I get a receipt?
A Yes you get a receipt after PayPals payment process is finished.
Q What happens after I have placed my order?
A As soon as your order is placed the process with getting your desired print to your destination starts. When the print is delivered from me to the Swedish postal department I will send you a mail with tracking information.
Q How is the print transported?
A I use a heavy duty paper cartridge with thick sides which I put the print into. I also use a plastic sleeve and two thick A3 sheets on the front and back of the print to stabilize and protect the print during transportation.
Q Why only 20 prints in each edition?
A I want to give you as a customer a feeling of exclusivity. Owning a print in a unique volume from a Swedish photographer doing mainly long exposure photography with compositions done in the surroundings of Gävleborg/Hälsningland must be considered unique and that is the way I want things to be.
Q But is there a guarantee there will only be 20 prints?
A Each 21 print I sell risks my entire business and that is something I will not do to earn some extra dollars. Also, each print is delivered with a certificate of authenticity containing information about title, date, signature, number edition, artist proofs, paper, size and artist. Each print will also be dated and signed on the back.
Q What is an artist proof?
A Artist proofs are photographs printed especially for the artist and excluded from the numbering of a limited edition, but are exactly like the editioned prints in every other respect. I use those for exhibitions and marketing events.
Q What paper do you use?
A I use the Photo Art Pearl from Permajet (UK). Permajet photo art pearl is a fine art product with a lustre finish. It is designed for use with dye and pigment inkjet systems . The media has been designed, manufactured and tested for use with Epson , HP, Canon and Lexmark printers. Archivability, quality and quality consistency are made to highest Permajet standards. The achievable dmax and brightness of colours is outstanding to all fine art products currently available in the market.

Permajet photo art pearl has the deepest blacks for black and white photography, superb colours and depth for landscape photography with a pearl shine. Permajet photo art pearl has been developed to meet the highest standards of fine art photographers using only the finest raw materials and manufacturing techniques. The Permajet photo art pearl 270 gsm is acid and lignin free media. The result is an age resistant paper and a significantly superior in D-Max, white point and surface structure. More information on the Permajet web site.
Q How about the estimated display life?
A The combination used in my process (high quality Epson printer, Epson ink and Permajet fine art paper) gives a estimated display life of +85 years. For best longevity prints should be over matted and mounted under glass. They should not be displayed in direct sunlight. These facts are stated from Permajet and Wilhelm Imaging Research.
Q How should I display the print?
A The prints should be mounted behind glass and over matted, there should only be archive tapes and glues used for mounting and framing. Where possible, always handle the paper or printed surface by its edges. The storage and use of the product should be in a climate and temperature of 10 to 30 degree C at a relative humidity of 30 to 60%. All recommendations and product indications are for guidance, and are subject to Permajet test criteria, these remain subject to changes without prior notice. There is no guarantee that the same results can be consistent.
Q Why does the print have a slightly different approach compared to the photo on the website?
A Due to how your screen is calibrated there can be some slight differences to the photo you see on my website compared to the print you receive.
